The Cincinnati third basemen is pursuing another productive and non-injury filled season in '12 Scott Rolen is one of those few players in Major League Baseball who can positively impact a team off the field. However, if given the choice the Reds would much rather have him impact the team on the field in 2012. A shoulder ailment limited the Jasper, In. native to just 65 games last year after he posted a bit of a comeback season in 2010 (.285/20/83).
