1. Hanley Ramirez and Randy Choate for Nathan Eovaldi and Scott McGough
The Dodgers deal for Ramirez was hands down the best of the season. Not only did the Dodgers get Ramirez, but they got a veteran reliever in Choate, who can provide quality relief innings; posting below a 2.50 ERA in his last two seasons. But back to Ramirez as he was the focus of the deal. The Dodgers bring in one of the game’s best talents who can do it all, whether it’s hitting for power, getting on base, or even stealing bases. His defense is a bit shaky, but that is not why the Dodgers traded for him. The Marlins were obviously sick of Ramirez, and were just looking to dump him as they are in another fire-sale season.
