Tyler Cloyd earned a shot at the major league level after posting an 15-1 record at two levels in the minor leagues in 2012. In 6 starts, he was 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA. He lacks true major league stuff but showed enough poise at times to be successful. He may get another opportunity to pitch for the Phillies in 2013, but expect the bulk of his time to be spent at Triple A Lehigh Valley.
