Nobody spends money now a days like the Los Angeles Dodgers. Led by the new ownership group run by Magic Johnson and Stan Kasten, the Dodgers have spent freely ever since the middle of last season when they traded for Hanley Ramirez. They followed that up by landing Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and Josh Beckett in the mega trade with the Boston Red Sox and made an off season splash by signing free agent RHP Zack Grienke. This team has a high percentage of the game’s best players led by their own stars, Clayton Kershaw and Matt Kemp. The question is not how good of a team this looks on paper. It is more of how good of chemistry they can have which seemed to be a problem towards the end of last season. The 2012 Dodgers finished 86-76 after leading the NL West for a good part of the season.
