Game 25: Red Sox win 6-1
The Red Sox completed the four game sweep of Houston on Sunday afternoon, tying the club record for most wins in April. John Lackey, just off of the disabled list, looked messy in the first, but he settled down to pitch six strong innings to pick up his first win of the season. The Red Sox gathered more than ten hits for the forth straight game, and improved to 18-7, which is best in the majors. Here are the four at bats that changed the game:
1) Top of the first inning, and Houston attacks first. We all know walks come back to hurt teams, and today was no different, as Lackey gave two men free passes in the first. Ronny Cedeno took an 0-1 changeup up the middle to plate a run and put the Astros up 1-0. See the RBI single here.
