  • Bobby Valentine should have been the first name on this list. He is a horrible excuse for a Major League manager. Maybe he's a good example of a Major League AssssHole, but as a manager he SUCKS!!! I'm a long time Yankees fan and I still hated to see what this moron did to the Red Sox last season. I actually missed the rivalry and important games in September between these two teams. But because of Valentine 2012 was a complete and utter joke for the Red Sox. They had plenty of talent in order to compete last year but this jerk destroyed the clubhouse in short order.

The thing about him that nauseates me the most is that he feels he did nothing wrong in how he handled a heavily laden veteran ballclub. The players showed class by not publicly sticking it to their manager, (but you could see from dugout shots on TV that they disliked this jerk). Something that can't be said about Valentine since he often took players to task with the use of the media, an absolutely cowardly thing to do. If you as a manager have a beef with a player, you do what a 'MAN' does and you talk to him behind closed doors. You don't rake him over the coals in the publics eye by talking to the press. Valentine is a spineless scumbag and it should be obvious to everyone that there was a reason he had to stick his tail between his legs and run to Japan for a number of years. The good that has come from this is that he will NEVER manage a Major League team again, NEVER!!!! Good riddance Booby, so glad we don't have to see your smug arrogant face in a dugout any longer.
This season the Red Sox were content and liked coming to the ballpark because the Little Hitler of a manager was gone...it showed in their play and in the clubhouse.
  • I'll never forget GR when he got the heave and came back on the bench with a fake mustache and beard just to draw attention to himself. He was a moron back then and he's still a moron. I couldn't agree with you more. I can't stand him either.
  • Yep, that's when he was manager of the Mets, he's a moron. What the Sox are doing now is testimony to what a horrible manager he really is.
