1. Buster Posey plays the most games among catchers.
Who would have thought that after a gruesome knee injury in late-May 2011 we would be talking about Posey as the most durable catcher in 2012? Well, get used to it folks. Not only did Posey play the most games of all catchers last year (148), but he was also the best performer at the position and it wasn’t that close. According to ESPN’s Player Rater, Posey (8.86) was a full 1.37 points ahead of runner-up Yadier Molina (more...
