Thanks BG for the great contributions.(Triple-A) Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (52-39) lost to Columbus (42-53) 8-1: Box Score - RecapThe SWB Yanks lost their 3rd game in a row by an 8-1 score at Columbus. The loss drops the 1st place Yanks to 52-39. The only bright spots were a solo homer by Ramiro Pena, 2 perfect innings by Edwar Ramirez, and 3 hits by Colin Curtis.PITCHING: With Sergio Mitre being called up to NY, this was a bullpen by committee game. Romulo Sanchez got the start for the Yanks. He threw a perfect 1st. He worked out of serious trouble in the 2nd after giving up a double and single to start the inning. A double play helped kill the threat. In the 2nd, Sanchez imploded after 2 men were out. A single, stolen base, balk , and 2 walks loaded the bases. A 2-run single followed by another ...
