The win ups the Yanks season record to 67-52. They hold a 3.5 game lead over Syracuse in the IL North division.PITCHING: Josh Towers got the start for the Yankees. He shut out Durham for 6 innings on just 2 hits. He had 5 strikeouts and 3 walks. He tossed a perfect 1st. In the 2nd, he worked out of a jam after giving up a walk and single. Towers stranded runners on 1st and 3rd in the 3rd inning after a single, stolen base and throwing error by Chris Stewart, and walk. He threw a clean 4th inning picking up his 2nd strikeout.
