With rotations worn to a nub, bullpens take on an inordinate importance in the post-season. The New York Yankees have a huge bullpen advantage over Philadelphia in the World Series. For the regular season and playoffs, the Yankees are 75-2 when leading after six innings. The Phillies, with an unpredictable closer in Brad Lidge, are 77-11 when leading after six innings. For what it's worth, the Texas Rangers were 74-6 when leading through six innings this season.
