It’s appropriate — isn’t it? — that Monday was Labor Day. Because any time the Royals beat the Los Angeles Angels ought to be a holiday. Here was that rare occurrence. The Royals built a four-run lead, thanks to the first of Billy Butler’s two home runs, before holding on for a 6-3 victory on a gorgeous afternoon at Kauffman Stadium.
