Surviving Grady:
Does this mean we can cross Toronto off the list of free agent suitors for Jason Bay? Looking more and more like the guy that checks your tire pressure at the local gas station in his Sunday duds, Jason Bay was sworn in as an official American citizen yesterday. As part of the deal, Bay has it written in his contract with the United States that no announcers, media types or fans can call him "Jay-Bay" anymore. So please knock that **** off starting now.And I doubt we'll see a moment like this tonight at Fenway, but let's give Mr. Bay a little extra cheer anyway.

Isn't Payback Fun?
I have to admit after the Red Sox fell behind 5-1 this afternoon, I thought this was a game heading for the "L" column. The Red Sox looked like they sleepwalking through this contest, one of those "it's been a long road trip, let's get on the plane and head home games". They had just four hits in eight innings against Orioles rookie Brad Bergesen.They...
