The 2008 season has officially come and gone, and we've moved on. The Twins kicked off the off-season by making a move we all knew was coming. Today, the club announced that they would pick up backup catcher Mike Redmond's team option for the '09 season.

The option is worth $950,000, and everybody expected Red to be back. With the off-season officially underway, we'll have an off-season article tonight as we look ahead at what to expect.
