What is it going to take to just lay all of this talk of Barry Bonds and the home run record to rest?

In part 2 of Barry Bonds interview with Jim Gray on Countdown With Keith Olbermann that aired tonight, Bonds says he feels "singled out" for being a target with the performance-enhancing drug problem that MLB has.

In the wake of Barry Bonds courageous challenge to the Hall Of Fame, the progressive folks over at The Starting Five (TSF) have called for a boycott of fashion designer and attention whore Mark Ecco. Bugs and Cranks' writers David Chalk and Steve Hulkower couldn't agree more.

There's been a lot of talk lately about boycotting the Baseball Hall of Fame since they're going to accept the #756 ball with an asterisk branded onto it. Don't fault the Hall for accepting the ball. It's their job. If Barry Bonds is going to boycott the Hall of Fame - the Hall must be doing something right.

Lost in the hype of Bonds' threatened boycott of the Hall Of Fame was that he adamantly, unequivocally declared his innocence when asked if he set the record unfairly with the help of PEDs. This is The United States Of America. If a man declares his innocence, he is considered innocent until he is proven guilty. There is no pricetag on that. Therefore I urge you to join Barry in his boycott.

In an interview that aired last night with Jim Grey on MSNBC's Countdown With Keith Olbermann, Barry Bonds said that he would not go to the Hall of Fame if they accept and display the ball that he hit for his 756th homerun.
