The John Smoltz experiment is failing, miserably. Smoltz got rocked around for nine hits over five innings pitched allowing six runs, one walk, six strikeouts and one home run given up. Nick Markakis drove in three runs including a solo home run in the fifth and David Hernandez threw seven innings yielding one run on five hits, no walks and two strikeouts.     Ugh Smoltz... I had faith in you, but since you've started you've sucked!! Most times we lost was because of the early runs you allowed the opponent to have... giving us a hard time to catch up...
