Josh Beckett continued to dominate the Atlanta Braves and David Ortiz launched his eighth homer of the season beating the Braves, 4-1. Beckett pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing six hits, no walks and struck out six batters. Ortiz finished the night going 1-for-3 with a solo homer in the fifth inning to open the scoring for Boston. Beckett has made two starts against Atlanta in a week span and did not allow a run. J.D.
