Jay Bruce is dat honkey. I'd say sorry for the blatant racism, but it just feels acceptable because they were playing the Braves. What a great win for the Reds even though I missed Bruce's hit in the 11th because I was gaying it up and watching Talk Soup on E!.

What else is there even to say about Jay Bruce? Just to add to his already ridiculous start of his career Bruce decided to hit his 1st career home run today in walk off fashion no less. Though only playing 5 games this month he already has more hits and more walks than the guy he replaced did in 28, and its clearly showing.

Someone please explain to me why Fogg isn't starting today? Wouldn't you think they would like to give Harang and Volquez an extra days rest considering what they did in San Diego on Sunday? At the very least you would think Fogg would start Friday.

What are scouting reports? Tonight I seriously pondered shutting down this blog as I watched Phil Dumatrait dominate this Reds team. How many times am I going to have to watch crappy pitchers shut down a Reds team, let alone a freaking former pitcher who was actually in the minor league system. I just pray that the Reds don't get the chance to face Kyle Lohse this year. A possible...

The bullpen clearly needs an extra arm after being spent yet again because of the starters not being able to give a quality start yesterday. The Reds don't have a day off until June 16th.

Wow. I am still amazed at the 11 for 19 start for Jay. That kid is the real deal. I'm more recently amazed at that big rocket he sent to space to win the game today. Wow.
I'm also glad Dusty finally took a piece of my advice...okay, maybe just parts of my advice.
Patterson was sent to the minors.
Belisle is moving into a relief role.

Hal McCoy reported today before the game that Homer Bailey is getting the call Thursday in Philadelphia.
Manager Dusty Baker was coy about it, but it is finally Homer Bailey time. Bailey was scheduled to pitch for the Class AAA Louisville Bats tonight and will, but is expected to pitch only two innings and take the rest of the night off.
This has to piss Hal McCoy off so...
