Barry-bonds-all-star-parade
Haven't professional sports franchises learned anything from the Washington Redskins? Haven't they learned that signing aging stars on their past accomplishments is like looking up your high school sweetheart on Facebook? Sure, there's a possibility to squeeze some magic out of that deal, but it's way more likely that they'll catch on to your insecurities and suck you dry before moving on.

  • I like the Rays, but I don't think signing Bonds is a good move
  • The way that photo's cropped, it looks like Barry's sporting some serious Goomba chest hair.

  • Actually its just the Tampa Bay Rays... No "Devil." Just saying and letting people know...
  • Don't they already have Cliff Floyd clogging up the DL...I mean DH.
  • since when did the rays owner say that he actually wants to spend money on his team. he has previously said that the team is a business and he owns it to make money, so he doesn't take the money he earns from the team and put it back into the organization. That's why Pinnela left there, he was upset that he was working so hard to improve the team, but the owner didn't want to do the same.
  • Too many people nowadays pretend to know someone or do not understand that there is no justice.Let the man play and you will be impressed.
  • Impressed? This aging also ran might still be able to hit but he is a cancer in the club house. jsb

GIANTS LOOK GOOD? OR REDSKINS LOOK BAD?

You can't learn much from one game, especially the first game of the season, but it appears the demise of Giants' defensive line has been greatly over exaggerated. They only managed one sacked, but played on the Redskins' side of the line-of-scrimmage most of the game and held Clinton Portis in check. As for Eli Manning and the offense, they played well but left some points on...
