  since when did the rays owner say that he actually wants to spend money on his team. he has previously said that the team is a business and he owns it to make money, so he doesn't take the money he earns from the team and put it back into the organization. That's why Pinnela left there, he was upset that he was working so hard to improve the team, but the owner didn't want to do the same.
