Dunn and Dunner:
Someone please explain to me why Fogg isn't starting today? Wouldn't you think they would like to give Harang and Volquez an extra days rest considering what they did in San Diego on Sunday? At the very least you would think Fogg would start Friday.

BRUUUUUUUUUCE!!!!!
Jay Bruce is dat honkey. I'd say sorry for the blatant racism, but it just feels acceptable because they were playing the Braves. What a great win for the Reds even though I missed Bruce's hit in the 11th because I was gaying it up and watching Talk Soup on E!.

Another AAA Pitcher Sold To Korea
Could I have found a more ridiculous picture? Probably, but I don't have access to Tom Shearn's personal computer files.
Anyways Shearn, like Lehr, is on his way to Korea. The official story is that he was sold to the Doosan Bears of the Korean League also, but I'm going with he's on a Rambo-like crusade to save the P.O.W. Lehr. Talk about taking one for the team.
Hal McCoy Is Trying Too Hard

What are scouting reports? Tonight I seriously pondered shutting down this blog as I watched Phil Dumatrait dominate this Reds team. How many times am I going to have to watch crappy pitchers shut down a Reds team, let alone a freaking former pitcher who was actually in the minor league system. I just pray that the Reds don't get the chance to face Kyle Lohse this year. A possible...

Why is Ken Griffey Jr.'s quest for 600 home runs going unnoticed?
Dusty likes them young
By now, you've undoubtedly heard every baseball blogger out there opine about The Deal's glorious debut.
3/3, 2 BB, 2 R, 2 RBI, SB.
You probably couldn't ask for more from someone who had his first legal alcoholic drink (I assume) 6 weeks ago.
So let's recap on the state of the Red's youngsters...
AccuScore: The Need for Speed
Which teams, catchers and pitchers allow the most stolen bases? Is Michael Bourn the next Carl Crawford? Should you add Jerry Hairston Jr? These are all questions answered by AccuScore fantasy expert Tim Williams in this edition of The Need for Speed.
