Denver Post:
Jhoulys Chacin, Juan Rincon and Matt Belisle aren't considered the big guns of the Rockies' bullpen, but they came through in a big way Thursday after starter Jose Contreras left the game with a right quadriceps injury. The trio allowed no runs and just three hits while striking out eight over six innings. Rincon got the win. "In the case of Juan Rincon and Matt Belisle, that's as good as we have seen them all year long," manager Jim Tracy said. "Both had explosive fastballs. The ball was jumping coming out of their hands."
