Eli's MLB Rumors:
According to Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Twins are interested in current White Sox shortstop Orlando Cabrera. Cabrera, 34, will likely not be resigned by the White Sox, even though he hit .281 with 8 homeruns in 161 games. He is pretty solid defensively, and would definitely be a leader for some of the young hispanic players in the clubhouse.A For the Twins, it would probably cost them 7-10 million dollars annually for about three years. Cabrera is likely a fallback for several teams, so the Twins could get a bargain if they move early.A

this guy is toxic. he's a decent defender and will score some runs, but he's got a bad attitude and i think would be a huge mistake for the twins - a young team that seems to have pretty good chemistry already. they were so close this year. once they play together for a full season, they won't have to count on winning that extra game against the chisox.

Moving Forward
It's not easy, and for the true fans, it shouldn't be. In fact, until the team gets back on the field next spring, it should be hard to think about the Twins without thinking what could have been and what should have been. Missing the playoffs by one game, and more so, one run, isn't easy, but it's time to move forward.
With a young outfield consisting of a 22...

The Rays-White Sox Series Is Already Pretty Intense
So I've been taking in the White Sox-Rays game this afternoon, and I think it actually got me interested in Playoff Baseball this year. Sure the Cubs' misery is fun and all, but yesterday just came off extremely slow paced to me. Not sure if it was the teams involved, or the good pitching performances just put me to sleep, but I just wasn't into it yesterday. Well...
