From the Reds:
Surprising honestly because that means they are going to have to clear 3 40 man spots. Obviously Belisle will probably go to the 60 day DL, but other than that it's anyones guess. My guess is Todd Coffey gets released to clear a spot.
Obviously Stubbs didn't get a call up because he doesn't need 40 man protection yet so its pointless to add him to it for a few major league at bats.

How about a cup of Coffey....
The Reds have designated for assignment 28 y/o right handed reliever Todd Coffey. In 2006 for the Reds in that Band box of a stadium Coffey went 6-7 with a 3.58 ERA and converted 8 of 12 saves in 78 games. The four year veteran has struggled for the past two years and after dropping significant weight lost some velocity. He can be claimed off waivers by any team to help them down...
The Guinness Premiership is back
The Guinness Premiership kicked off yesterday in England, in much the same manner as the French Top 14 did - with an upset. Champions Wasps were downed by London Irish, and in the other match of the day, Harlequins beat Saracens. As with the French league, the Guinness Premiership will once again showcase some of the top players in world rugby. The local talent aside, there have...
Two Reds In Three Matches For Tevez
Whilst Carlos Tevez has shown himself as United's best player on the park so far this season, he's having a harder making the same impression on the International stage.
It was just last week that Tevez revealed he was determined to cling on to his first team place with Argentina, after seeing the impressive display from [...]
Who to blame?
First of all, to those who think they're big, tough, badasses and enjoy booing the players at a sporting event: you make me sick. You're pathetic. You're worthless. Fuck you!
There's plenty of blame to go around for the Cubs 4-3 loss to the Reds today. From briefly reading through the comments here, it appears as if Ronny Cedeno is the popular one to blame. Kerry...
About the Reds?!? Yes, It’s True!
I haven’t written a post about the Cincinnati Reds in a VERY long time. So long, in fact, has it been that I haven’t said anything the ENTIRE 2008 season … until now. This fact remains more than a bit contradictory given that my off-site blogs have primary subjects of NASCAR (for which I have written a few things) and baseball / MLB / Reds (which I only apologize for not...
