From the Reds:
Last night Louisville was eliminated from the International League playoffs with a 9-1 loss at Durham...tomorrow
the Reds are expected to promote IF Paul Janish (#7), IF Danny Richar (#62, pronounced REE-char), IF Adam
Rosales (#60), RHP Jon Adkins (#64), LHP Daniel Ray Herrera (#52), LHP Adam Pettyjohn (#63) and RHP
Josh Roenicke (#65)...corresponding moves will be announced tomorrow to make room on the roster for Adkins,
Pettyjohn and Roenicke...
Surprising honestly because that means they are going to have to clear 3 40 man spots. Obviously Belisle will probably go to the 60 day DL, but other than that it's anyones guess. My guess is Todd Coffey gets released to clear a spot.
Obviously Stubbs didn't get a call up because he doesn't need 40 man protection yet so its pointless to add him to it for a few major league at bats.
