During today's Toronto/KC game (still in progress) Janssen was used for 2/3 IP in relief. I guess his arm was still fresh after being pulled on Wednesday after 3 1/3 IP (5 ERs). Looks like Janssen is going to loose his spot in the rotation if the Jays can find another pitcher.
Its been a shame to watch. Janssen started out strong but teams are getting more familiar with him. His performance quickly became erratic and then consistently terrible. In four of his last five games he has given up at least 5 earned runs and only lasted 3 innings in 3 of those games.
The Jays will look for another arm but payroll concerns may make it difficult for them to land anything of quality.
