It didn’t take Frank Catalanotto long to make it back to the major leagues. After three minor league games the Milwaukee Brewers are calling up the veteran outfielder/first basemen to provide much needed infield depth.
Catalanotto was hitting .250/.357/.417 in those three minor league games after signing a contract with the Brewers on May 12.

Frank Catalanotto returned to the big leagues yesterday and made his way into the Brewers-Cardinals game. In the eighth inning the veteran left hand hitting Catalanotto grounded out for outfielder Corey Hart. He stayed in the game to play right field.
