Roy Corcoran has pitched more than 300 minor league games in his career and doesn’t want to pitch another – which means his days as a Seattle Mariners reliever probably ended Friday. Making room on their 25-man roster for starting pitcher Ryan Rowland-Smith, the Mariners designated the 29-year-old Corcoran for assignment, meaning the team can trade him, release him or offer him a job in the minors if he clears waivers.
