Much is being made in the Royals Internet circle of the Alex Gordon demotion. It's obvious (despite what spouts from the FO) the team is using the demotion to delay his free agency a year, and I can see it, why burn a year of his service time on a season like this? He isn't hitting, the team is going nowhere. Of course, it makes no sense to still have Roman Colon in the bullpen...
