Diamondbacks left-hander Doug Davis was claimed on waivers sometime within the last day, sources said, and Arizona will listen to offers from the claiming team. The waiver process is fairly secretive and it is not yet known which team claimed Davis.

Former major league pitcher Jason Grimsley appeared Tuesday at the courthouse where a grand jury is investigating Roger Clemens.
Grimsley and his lawyer spent a little more than an hour at the federal courthouse in Washington. Grimsley had no comment as he left the building.
Former Houston-area gym owner Kelly Blair arrived to testify shortly after lunch.
