With Nippon Professional Baseball heading into postseason play next week, I thought it might be interesting to see how some former Pirates did this year.
1) Alex Ramirez: He is finishing up his ninth season in NPB as the Yomiuri Giants are the presumptive favorites to win the Japan Series in a few weeks.
