The Royals have been unsuccessful in their pursuit for help in the past two offseasons, and they are ready to come back and make some moves in 2008. While going after CC Sabathia and Mark Teixeira would be nice, Royals GM Dayton Moore has the money to spend on a couple second tier free agents. As for the bullpen, they could take a gamble on struggling reliever Bob Howry, who has a career 3.64 ERA. Dayton Moore is very aware of the situation and will likely spend his money carefully and wisely.
