Derek Jeter and Mark Teixeira were named American League All-Star starters at their respective positions.  Teixeira was in a hotly-contested race with Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis. Mariano Rivera was the only Yankee named to the pitching staff of the American League.  No Yankees were chosen as reserves. The complete roster can be found here.
