All Star pitchers Matt Cain (SF) and Johan Santana (NY) were locked in a pitcher's duel at Citi Field until the fourth inning, when things turned ugly. Matt Cain nailed Met's 3B David Wright in the head with a 94 mph fastball. Cain, obviously unsettled by the event, crouched between home and the mound while trainers worked on Wright. David Wright was taken to the Hospital for Special Surgery by ambulance about an hour after being hit in the head. Mets spokesman Jay Horwitz said a ...
