The Boston Red Sox may lose reserve outfielder Bobby Kielty. Kielty re-signed with the team in the off-season knowing he'd only have a roster spot if Coco Crisp was trade. So the potential of losing him is no surprise to either side. The Red Sox have offered an assignment at AAA-Pawtucket and are hoping he accepts the offer.
