Rob over at The Bottom Line hosted a contest back on September 23 asking readers to guess the correct number of saves Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon would finish with at the end of the 2009 regular season.The person with the correct answer, plus the answer to his bonus question, "What is Dennis Eckersley's name for a fastball?" would win a Jonathan Papelbon poster.As of September 23 Papelbon had 37 saves.I guessed 38.I was the only person to guess correctly and another reader, Steve said 39 so we both won posters (I guess Rob had two of them).Too bad TBS couldn't use a photo from this season with the obvious change of the away jerseys.Congrats to Paps for becoming the new saves leader in Red Sox history and having another great year.Now it's time to kick it up a notch.Once the postseason schedule is set, it'll be posted here.
