That’s almost the first thing you hear Newark Mayor Cory Booker say in the awesome five-part documentary series BRICK CITY that’s been playing on the Sundance Channel. He’s in a suit in city hall and has just gotten into a crowded elevator and starts ribbing a young man in a red t-shirt and a red Yankees hat.
YOUNG MAN: Oh, I like the Yankees.
MAYOR: Ok, so I will give you three dollars if you can name me five players from the 1977 World Championship New York Yankees.
YOUNG MAN: I wasn’t even born. Three dollars?
