Whatever. The only way Doug Davis gets through even five innings is if he's facing a brainless, undisciplined lineup. Either Carney Lansford has no clue just how undisciplined the lineup is, the players don't listen to him, or hitting coaches have absolutely no effect on major league hitters. Take your pick.
