In a rather surprising move, the Phillies have placed outfielder Raul Ibanez on the disabled list with a strained left groin. Though Ibanez missed a start last weekend with a sore Achilles tendon, there had been no mention of a groin injury.

    Who's going to have more RBI's at the end of the season, Ibanez or Milton Bradley? I bet it'll be close. For the Cubs sake I hope it is.

    HUH? How will it possibly be close? Bradley has 16 RBI, Ibanez has 59 RBI! Ibanez could miss two months and still be ahead of Bradley

      He played well today Im not really worried about this,damn pitching is KILLING US.Hopefully the trade deadline is good to us this year.

    we need a pitcher. If we dont land a starting pitcher we could be in trouble. I have alot of respect for jaime moyer but i think hes done. But now that bedard, peavy halladay are all onthe DL who else could we get? roy oswalt possibly? hell, why not go after pedro martinez or glavine if they cant trade for anybody? cant hurt
