Eli's MLB Rumors:
The Tampa Tribune is reporting that the Rays have signed Adam Kennedy to a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training. The Cardinals are on the hook for Kennedy's 2009 salary, so it costs the Rays nothing to bring him in. He probably won't make the Opening Day roster, but a spot?could open up for him during the season if he plays well. This story was approved by MLB Rumors.
