Red Sox prospect Anthony Rizzo diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma
18 year old first baseman Anthony Rizzo has been diagnosed with Limited Stage Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Rizzo started out this season playing with Single-A Greenville and was hitting .373 with 6 doubles and 11 RBIs.
He is currently being treated at Mass General and doctors say there is an excellent chance of complete recovery. His treatment will last 6-8 months and he'll return to his home in Miami to continue it there sometime in the next few days.
