Jeff Samardzija isn't starting tonight (although it may have been his turn) for Mexicali. As a matter of fact, he's no longer listed on their roster. Schlitter, Camp and Snyder are still there, but wtvr.I checked Google News and, lo and behold, Cubs.com is already reporting it:On Friday, [Thomas] Diamond, 26, heads to Mexico to join the Mexicali team and take pitcher Jeff Samardzija's spot on the roster.No other mention of Samardzija in the article (which is about Diamond). I guess he got his innings in.
