Sheets K's can't save a bad offense
Ben Sheets had a season high 11 strikeouts against the Rockies on Wednesday night but it wasn't enough in an 8-3 Brewers' loss. Sheets went six innings and gave up three runs to go along with all the strikeouts.
Bill Hall got the lead early for the Crew with a second inning home run. After that, the offense went missing. The Rockies took a 4-1 lead going into the bottom of the seventh when the bats were found and the Brewers rallied to cut the lead to 4-3.
