Angels star Mike Trout lands on injured list with hamstring strain

Los Angeles Angels star outfielder Mike Trout is headed to the injured list with a hamstring strain, he confirmed on Thursday. Trout had played in 74 of L.A.’s 75 games so far this season, but injured his right hamstring while running to first base during Wednesday’s loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
