Do you have any superstitions? reoccurring habits? or things you do when something is going well or not so well? For me there's a few baseball superstitions that I do here and there but never consistently. Mostly the rally cap and pointing my shoes towards the north-pole are the only one's I participate with.Kenny Porpora of the Daily News has a new article talking about player superstition's and habits. Since the Yankees and Angels clinched and confirmed their date in the 2009 ALCS all I’ve heard about what a great team the Angels are. People are entitled to their opinions so I can’t bash anyone for that, but it did get me thinking about the Yankee teams that previously faced the Angels. Johnny Damon keeps his bat intact leading off the bottom of the fifth and splits the outfielders in left-center for a double. Damon collected just one hit against Minnesota, but has two tonight.

The Angels wished CC Sabathia had stayed away—like the rain did. The ace rocked, and the Yankees took advantage of three Halos errors to take Game 1 of the ALCS. Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter and Hideki Matsui each drove in runs.
Yeah, the Angels made some mistakes, but the Yankees won this game because CC Sabathia outpitched John Lackey.
