Hank Blalock had a two-run homer with one-out in the fifth, and Nelson Cruz followed two batters later with a solo shot to move the Rangers into a 3-3 tie entering the bottom of the sixth inning.
Blalock's 19th homer came on a hanging curveball off Erik Bedard, and Cruz's 22nd of the year came off Miguel Batista.

Chris Shelton could not have picked a better time to deliver for the Mariners, coming through with a pinch-hit single to left field in the seventh inning. That snapped a tie game and Seattle went on to score twice that inning for a huge 5-3 win over the Texas Rangers.
