TEAMS: Tennessee Titans
Offensive: Chris Johnson
"Dash" was our leading rusher: 24 attempts for 89 yards with a touchdown; and leading receiver: 6 catches for 72 yards. I'm starting to think that this kid is pretty good. He looked better as the game went on, always a great sign for a Titan running back. He has a 4.9 rushing average for the season and he continues to lead the AFC in rushing (as well as all rookies). We haven't seen a rookie make this big of an impact since... well I'm not even going to go there.
Honorable Mention: Lendale White
Lendale had 77 yards on 8 rushing attempts. Most of those yards (54) came from a big run in the second quarter, which set up a Johnson touchdown. I wouldn't say he had a great game. White, unlike Chris Johnson, is not exciting to watch. You don't get the sense he could break a big one at any time. So, perhaps its the improbability of seeing him running by people, but there's few sights more pleasurable for this Titans fan than #25 "sprinting" down the field.
Defensive: Jacob Ford
With Kyle Vanden Bosch leaving the game early because of a lingering groin injury, back-up Jacob Ford saw a lot of playing time. The second-year player made the most of his opportunity (actually this is his real rookie year because he missed all of last year with an injured Achillies). The 6th round pick from Central Arkansas sacked Aaron Rodgers twice and forced a fumble. He helped put the teeth back in a pass rush that was quite suspect Monday night against the Colts.
Honorable Mention: Chris Hope
As usual, Hope was making plays all over the field. With 5 tackles, 2 passes defended, a sack, and an interception in the endzone, this was a good game even by his high standards. I didn't give him the game ball because the Packers passed for 314 yards, and we gave up some big plays, but I think some of those where on free safety Michael Griffin.
On side note: How many defensive players do you think the Titan's will send to the Pro Bowl? I think it has to be at least 5 right? Tell us what you think.

2008 NFL Draft â€" Running Back Sleepers
1. Matthew Forte, Tulane (6-1 1/8, 221)
Forte is a strong back who could become a touchdown vulture in the NFL as early as next year. He won't be picked before the early third round of the NFL Draft, however he could come in and be a goal line back right away.

Johnson, Jones are Titans after unpredictable first day of draft
East Carolina running back Chris Johnson was the first player selected by the Tennessee Titans in today's draft. I'm very happy the Titans drafted this speedy playmaker, but I'm surprised he was drafted in the first round. However, after no wide receivers were selected before Johnson, I have to trust...

Stupid Fast is Angry with Matty Ice
"He's a good player, and he played quarterback and did a good job this year," Titan's Chris Johnson said of the Falcon's Matt Ryan. "But the whole thing is bogus, because people are voting for it that are not on the same field as the people who are playing. "I'm disappointed. I did all I could to win it. I feel I did thebest. Passing of the Torch
With the retirement of Brett Favre, the Aaron Rodgers era officially begins. As I said before, I am perfectly fine with Brett's retirement, but the adjustment is still there.
