Does anyone else out there loathe Jose Molina like I do?
I hate watching that fat bastard play. I wish the Yanks never signed him, and they probably wouldn’t have if they new what they had with Cervelli. I pray that they don’t re-sign him next year, they don’t need him with Cervelli.
I really can’t complain [...]

Yankees.com: Cool as CC
The Angels wished CC Sabathia had stayed away—like the rain did. The ace rocked, and the Yankees took advantage of three Halos errors to take Game 1 of the ALCS. Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter and Hideki Matsui each drove in runs.
Yeah, the Angels made some mistakes, but the Yankees won this game because CC Sabathia outpitched John Lackey.
So much for the myth that CC can&...
Multi-threat Yankees keep finding ways to win
In the rain? No problem, the Yankees just won't lose. Alex Rodriguez's HR in the 11th sets up New York's walk-off 4-3 win over the Angels in the 13th. Face it, Mike Freeman says, the Yanks look just about unbeatable.
Yankees Threaten
Matsui singles leading off the second and Posada walks to put a runner in scoring position for Robinson Cano.
Update: Cano hits a slow roller to short that forces Posada at second, but he gets Matsui to third with one out for Swisher.
Update: Pat Sajak is in Boras’s box as well. He’s a pretty decent [...]

Yankees in the Eleventh
Brian Fuentes comes in to face Alex Rodriguez. Because of pinch runners, however, Guzman and Gardner bat behind Alex.
Update: Alex takes two strikes, then sends the next pitch just over Abreu’s glove at the wall in right. The game is once again tied at three, and Guzman bats. I think Alex has [...]
Jerry shines in a pinch
When Jerry Hairston Jr. got the call to pinch hit in the 13th inning, he dedicated the at-bat to his grandfather. This was the Yankee reserve's first ever playoff at-bat, and he knew how lucky he was to get the chance.
