PLAYERS: Vladimir Guerrero
Vladimir Guerrero admitted to reporters yesterday that he is one year older than his listed age of 33. I wonder if this gives the Angels cause to void the contract? Guerrero is set to become a free agent next season and he would have to take a discount if he wants to stay with the Angels. In 143 games with the Angels, Guerrero hit .303 with 27 HR. He is a career .323 hitter in 1750 career games.

    Angels won't try to void the deal - they got him at a bargain price, and have received more than their money's worth to this point. No need to create any waves

    It's like at the end of the day.. The Angels need Vladdy as much as Vladdy needs them. IMO
