David Weathers avoided arbitration and signed a 1 year deal with a team option for 2010. The money breaks down like this

2009: $3.5 million
2010: $3.7 million or $400,000 buyout

Solid deal for the Reds and Weathers. He some how continues to get people out with the biggest skill of all grittiness.
