From Peter Abraham:When CC Sabathia gave up the four runs in the third inning, he stalked into the dugout and told Jose Molina, “That’s all they get.” I asked Molina if he believed him. “His face was mad,” Molina said. “I did believe him. He was pissed off.”While I love stuff like this, and I admire that kind of moxie and the fact that he backed it up (sort of), today's start was still not what I was expecting coming into today's critical game. Five runs on ten hits in seven+ innings is not the work of an ace. They won, and all can be forgiven, I guess, but the Yankees gave this guy a huge contract and it wasn't so he'd give them four runs on ten hits. Anyway, I'll have more to say about this later in the game summary, but for now I'm interested to see what you guys think of CC's bold words and his mediocre start.
