It's reassuring to see that K-Rod didn't get any first place votes. That feeling will last exactly five days, until he finishes ahead of all these guys in the MVP voting on Tuesday. Neyer seemed to think that it would be close between Rodriguez and Lee, although I'm not sure why. I would assume that he knows Cy Young Predictor is almost completely useless for relievers...

Well, it's official, after weeks of speculation. Cliff Lee is your 2008 American League Cy Young winner, beating Toronto's Roy Halladay who finished second. Lee earned 24 of 28 first-place votes and 132 total points in voting done by the Baseball Writers' Association of America. Halladay garnered the other four first-place votes and finished with 71 points.
