The Yankees have traded Wilson Betemit, Jeff Marquez, and Jhonny Nunez to the White Sox in exchange for Nick Swisher and Kanekoa Teixeira. Swisher will likely take over at first base for the Yankees, who need to fill the void now that Jason Giambi is a free agent.
Jeff Marquez shows lots of promise as a pitcher, and this could turn out to be a steal for the White Sox.
